We are working with a social housing provider who are looking to recruit an Occupational Heath & Safety Officer on a permanent basis.

Duties will include:

* Workplace inspections -approx 2-4 times per month

* Incident & Accident response/investigation

* Recording, collating and distributing any claim correspondence to relevant members of the Compliance Team

* Ensuring all documentation and records are kept up to date and are made accessible via centralised records.

* Maintaining lone working 'stay safe' records and produce regular management reports detailing usage.

* Arranging and attending Safety Management Committees and Safety Group meetings

* Liaising with the Learning and Development team recording health and safety training across the organisation (i.e. Manual handling, PPE, work station assessments)

Previous experience coupled with having worked in the Housing sector - for a Housing Association, Local Authority, Contractor or Charity is essential, bringing your proven knowledge of the health & safety issues faced by people working in the sector.

You will hold a relevant qualification i.e NEBOSH Certificate and have a full driving licence and access to vehicle
