We are seeking a Deputy Operations Manager to support the strategic growth and day-to-day efficiency of our clients high-performing organisation in Truro.

🔎 What You'll Be Doing:

✔ Operational Leadership - Support all functions including marketing, business development and administration to ensure they're aligned with organisational goals
✔ Team Support - Guide and support staff with training, systems, and people management, ensuring consistent delivery of key responsibilities
✔ Business Efficiency - Manage and refine systems, workflows, and data processes to support colleagues and maintain high standards across client servicing
✔ Compliance & Quality - Help ensure compliance with FCA regulations, GDPR, and business best practices
✔ Marketing - Support the creation and execution of a targeted marketing strategy across digital channels and client engagement events
✔ Project Management - Lead and deliver internal projects to support practice development and service innovation
✔ Client Experience - Assist in delivering a first-class experience to new and existing clients, supporting relationship-building and client care initiatives
✔ Deputise for the Manager - Take ownership of operational decisions and team support when required

🌟 What We're Looking For:

💡 Strong background in operations or office management within a regulated environment
💡 Experience in managing people, systems, and workflow processes
💡 Knowledge of financial services or a similar professional services environment desirable
💡 Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with digital systems and CRM platforms
💡 Previous marketing or project management experience beneficial
💡 Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
💡 A team player with the ability to lead with initiative, positivity, and professionalism
💡 Comfortable working flexibly, with a can-do mindset and strong problem-solving ability
