My client is a rapidly growing start up business within an innovative and growing industry, who is looking to bring their finance function in house. I am looking for an experienced interim Financial Controller or a temp to perm FC to join the existing CFO.
The CFO is now looking for a qualified accountant to support her during a period of transition, laying the foundations of a world class finance system. The role will be management reporting and some systems implementation. You should be confident and capable of handling all the key responsibilities of the role, but, as importantly, keen to engage with colleagues across the company, flexible in your approach, and focussed on problem-solving and continuous process improvement. This is a hands-on role in a lean organisation, where we are all willing to roll up our sleeves and get involved, with big ambitions to deliver agile, automated Finance systems and be a trusted business partner to all areas of the company.
Key Responsibilities

ERP Implementation: manage the transition from Xero to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central

Systems and Controls: help with the development and embedding of formal systems and controls

Management Accounting: supervise monthly management accounting, managing the month end close, generating monthly management information and ensuring all financial deadlines are met.
