Lambeth Self Help Housing Association - General Manager

General Manager: Part-Time - 2 Days/ 14 hours per week. LSH can be flexible about days and times, with set monthly evening meetings, plus four Saturday mornings per year in person. Most work will be done remotely with regular travel to Lambeth

Salary: up to £70,000 per annum pro rata (commensurate to experience).

Lambeth Self Help Housing Association (LSH) is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to help lead and shape the future of our unique, tenant-run housing co-operative in Lambeth, South London.

We are a fully mutual housing co-operative, run by an elected tenant committee, so collaboration and respect for tenant voices is central to everything we do.

This part-time role offers the chance to lead exciting projects, including retrofitting our homes through the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), delivering a new build on an infill site, and overseeing the upkeep of our 51 beautiful Georgian and Victorian homes.

We're looking for someone who has the following experience:-

* Social Housing project management experience ideally with period properties

* Retrofit experience within Social Housing Decarbonisation fund

* Contractor management experience - overseeing maintenance projects from specification through to completion

The ideal person will be:

* Passionate about social housing and sustainability.

* Understands the financial and practical challenges of maintaining period homes.

* Brings strong business acumen, project management skills, and sector knowledge.

* Can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

You'll manage our long-standing Housing Manager and work closely with our small, committed team. We value leaders who are equally comfortable guiding big projects, collaborating with members, and rolling up their sleeves when needed.
