Part time Catering Assistants


Location: Stafford ST16
Working hours: Part time, hours can vary Monday to Friday, Between 0700-1600
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Contract: temporary ongoing

We are currently looking for experienced catering assistants to join our client's team in at a manufacturing site, working within the kitchen in. It is a temporary ongoing role and we are looking for individuals who are happy to work on a flexible basism in a fast paced environment and have ability to work on their own and as a part of the team.

Your role as a catering assistant (not limited to):

  • General assistant duties
  • Assisting those in the kitchen with you
  • Washing pots/pans
  • Food preperation
  • Serving food at the counter in a canteen environment
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Keeping surfaces clean and tidy
  • General Cleaning duties where required
  • Operating tills


About you:

  • Previous experience in catering environment (essential)
  • Able to work flexibly
  • Able to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Great customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to multi-task
  • Can work well within a team and independently
  • Can follow direct instructions
  • Polite and friendly

Qualifications/Licences/Certifications
* In date Food&Hygiene Level 1 or above (If you don't have an in date certificate, we can provide you with Food&Hygiene level 1 free of charge)
* At least 1 year of experience in catering/kitchen environment
