Our client is a key supplier to some of the UK's premium retailers and foodservice outlets. With a reputation for quality products and a high-performing engineering team, they're now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their site in Cheshire.

What you'll be doing:

Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment
Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
Diagnosing and repairing faults across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, automation and instrumentation systems
Supporting production teams with machine changeovers and setups
Manufacturing or repairing parts when needed
Recording all maintenance work and contributing to CI projects
Always promoting and upholding the highest Health & Safety standards

About you:

Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent
Recognised engineering qualification (mechanical/electrical)
Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food/FMCG a bonus)
Strong electrical fault-finding and analysis skills
Proactive, flexible and detail-focused approach
Confident communicator and genuine team player
