An award winning and fast-growing Kent-based construction firm now require a Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. With experience spanning residential new-build development, refurbishments and extensions, as well as commercial and public sector projects, a career here will provide variety and opportunity for ongoing professional development.

The role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, as the Quantity Surveyor you will:

Ensure the effective management of costs on construction and refurbishment contracts.
Work collaboratively with sub-contractors, architect partners and internal colleagues.
Play a key role in assessing the commercial viability of future projects.
 
Whilst this QS role is office based, it will require regular travel to site and to attend client meetings. 

About you:

You will have demonstrable experience in Quantity Surveying including proven experience working on residential builds.
You will be commercially astute and with the experience to be able to independently deal with complex projects.
As a key member of a small and ambitious team, you'll need to flexible to adapt to changing business requirements.
It's important that you share their focus on building relationships based on trust.
Due to the travel involved in this surveyor role it's essential that you hold a full UK driving licence.
