An opportunity has arisen to join a wholesale and distribution company in Elstree. This role is perfect for someone who is able to manage their time well and prioritise their workload
Type: Full-time in the office from Monday to Friday - NO Hybrid or WFH
* Purchase Ledger:
*
* Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying and recording accounts payable data (supplier invoices)
* Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
* Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
* Generate reports detailing accounts' payables status
* Understand expense accounts and cost centre
* Sales Ledger:
*
* Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
* Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
* Prepare bank deposits (cheques)
* Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues
* Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
* Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
* Other Tasks:
*
* Processing of the staff members' corporate credit cards
* Other Finance Related administrative tasks that might be required
Skills Required:
* Proven working experience within a Finance Team
* Understanding of basic accounting principles
* Proven ability to calculate, post and figures and financial records
* Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
* Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
