Motor Claims Handler

My client, an established Motor Insurer based in the heart of Cardiff are currently looking to recruit a Motor Claims Handler with experience in Motor Damage/Liability handling and/or Motor Injury handling to join their new team in a busy and fast paced office environment.

As a Motor Claims Handler, you will deliver planned performance and service standards to ensure customers are provided with an excellent customer experience in addition to being innovative and proactive when dealing with all aspects of customer & thirdparty claims. Experience dealing with fraudulent claims would be ideal, however, it is essential that you have Motor Claims experience. Applications that do not have Motor Claims experience will not be considered.

Some of your daily duties will include:

- Handling accidental damage, fire, theft & vandalism claims from report to settlement.
- Dealing with all aspects of thirdparty damage claims including those involving credit hire and bodily injury.
- Actively seeking subrogated recoveries and negotiate liability as the loss circumstances dictate.
- Identifying potential fraud using knowledge of fraud indicators, SIRA or other available tools and acting in accordance with company stated guidelines to deal with such claims.
