As the Head Barista for our brand-new WatchHouse opening in Clapham this Autumn, you will play a key role in introducing Modern Coffee to this vibrant neighbourhood. You’ll ensure every drink served reflects our uncompromising quality standards, while leading, mentoring, and inspiring your barista team. As both a leader and a brand ambassador, you will shape the tone for hospitality and excellence, creating an outstanding guest experience from the very first day. Through hands-on coaching, skill development, and meticulous equipment care, you will help establish WatchHouse Clapham as a go-to destination for our signature Modern Coffee culture.
Directly report into: House Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all drinks offerings, recipes, and techniques, sharing this expertise with your team.
Conduct daily tastings with your team, fostering a culture of curiosity and passion for flavor, quality, and innovation.
Oversee stock control, ordering, and wastage management, tackling inefficiencies and maintaining excellent supplier relationships.
