Brit European, a transport company, have permanent positions available for an HGV Class One driver to join them as a heavy transporter driver based in Marchington. This is a drawbar-configuration vehicle.

You must have 2 years HGV Class One driving experience due to insurance restrictions.

OTE: £48,000 Per annum

Your Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday day shift
• #removed# start (flexible with driver)

Your Role:

• Transporting plant machinery to UK ports, with commercial vehicle backloads, using the latest generation of transporter equipment.
• Product loading and restraint
• Completing detailed inspection and delivery paperwork
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and transport regulations
• Please note that this vehicle is fitted with a car transporter-sized cab.

Required from you:

• HGV Class One licence
• HGV Class One driving experience required: 2 Years
• In Date CPC & Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 points, no IN, DD or DR penalty codes
• A good level of physical fitness. The job is exerting and involves working at height
• Previous drawbar transporter experience is beneficial
