Job Title: Refrigeration Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Refrigeration Engineer to join a specialist team supporting dairy refrigeration systems across the Midlands. This is a full-time, permanent position focusing primarily on service and breakdown repair, with some installation work.
This role offers a balanced work-life schedule with no on-call requirement, a clearly defined working area (within a 30-minute travel radius), and opportunities for paid overtime.Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out breakdown repairs and routine servicing on dairy refrigeration systems (approx. 75% of role)

* Conduct installations and commissioning of new refrigeration systems (approx. 25%)

* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults

* Maintain accurate service records and reports

* Provide high-quality customer service during all site visits

* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements:

* Proven experience in refrigeration engineering, preferably within the dairy or agricultural sector

* C&G 2079 (F-Gas Certification) - essential

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively

* Willing to travel up to 30 minutes each way for jobs
