Senior Finance Manager - Charity Sector (Part-Time, Remote)
£40,000 FTE (£24,000 pro rata) | Permanent | 21.75 hours/week

A well-respected national charity is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Finance Manager to join their leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional who is passionate about making a difference and thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

* Oversee monthly accounting operations and liaise with external accountants

* Manage audits and statutory accounts

* Monitor programme funding and ensure compliance with financial regulations

* Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership and trustees

* Support governance and regulatory reporting

Requirements:

* Proven experience in charity finance, including restricted/unrestricted funds

* Strong understanding of financial compliance and reporting standards

* Proficiency in Xero and Excel

* Experience preparing management accounts and budgets

* Accountancy qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, AAT) or qualified by experience

* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
