The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support children across the curriculum. A key part of your role will involve working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, manage routines, and develop socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small group support both inside and outside the classroom

Assist in planning and delivering personalised learning strategies

*

Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and outside professionals

*

Support the emotional wellbeing and social development of pupils

Requirements

*

Experience supporting children in an educational setting (school, nursery, or similar)

*

A calm, compassionate, and resilient approach

*

Understanding or interest in supporting pupils with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, or speech and language needs

*

A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
