Test & Installation Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire Travel - UK & International

Selexa Group are partnered with a specialist engineering business who are looking for a Test & Installation Engineer to join their growing team. This is a varied, hands-on position that combines lab-based testing with on-site installation work, offering the opportunity to travel internationally to locations such as Europe, North America, and occasionally China and Australia (typically 3-14 days at a time, averaging around one trip per month).

The Role

You'll be involved in building, testing, and installing high-performance cryogenic systems. Day-to-day, this could include:

* Running system tests and diagnosing faults

* Carrying out electrical checks and using diagnostic equipment

* Supporting the build and set-up of systems and accessories

* Handling cryogenic liquids safely and effectively

* Recording results and keeping detailed test documentation

* Configuring software and ensuring systems are ready for use on site

* Working closely with the wider team to maintain quality standards and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

* A background in science or engineering (degree desirable but not essential)

* Previous experience in a technical test, assembly, or installation environment (2+ years)

* Confident using electrical test equipment and hand tools

* Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel

* Solid understanding of SI units
