We are seeking an English Lecturer to join a supportive and forward-thinking college. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to inspire and educate students in a dynamic learning environment.

• Plan and develop engaging lessons, including the creation of schemes of work tailored to student needs.
• Implement learner-centred assessment methods focusing on constructive and developmental feedback.
• Monitor and report on the attendance, progress, and achievements of students.
• Maintain a safe working environment, enforcing health and safety standards and ensuring compliance among students.
• Provide personal coaching and pastoral care to designated students to support their development and future progression.
• Stay updated with industry developments to ensure the relevance and employability of our students.
• Actively participate in professional development to enhance both theoretical and practical teaching skills.

• A teaching qualification with experience in the Further or Higher Education sectors, or
• A Level 3 qualification relevant to English, with a willingness to undertake a Further Education teaching qualification supported by our Passport to Teaching programme.
• Strong administrative skills to accurately track students' attendance, progress, and achievements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster an engaging and inclusive educational environment.
