Teacher of Business Studies (Part Time)

Contract: 2-3 days per week

Are you a Teacher of Business Studies looking to maintain work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in a high-achieving secondary school? A well-regarded school in Bedford, Bedfordshire is seeking a passionate educator to join their Business department from September 2025 on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher who excels in delivering engaging and high-quality Business lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will work two or three days per week, contributing to a popular and successful department within the school.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver and assess GCSE and A-Level Business Studies

Set high expectations and challenge students to achieve their full potential

Work in-line with departmental and school policies

Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and innovation in Business

Collaborate with colleagues and support whole-school initiatives as appropriate

What We're Looking For:

QTS/QTLS or equivalent with proven experience in teaching Business Studies

Strong classroom presence and the ability to inspire learners at all levels

Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to a range of abilities

Organised, collaborative, and proactive in contributing to departmental success

Willingness to support the broader culture and values of the school
