Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a vibrant mainstream primary/secondary school in the Wellingborough area. About the Role

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND)

Assist teachers in creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Adapt materials and activities to suit individual learning needs

Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour

Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

Help monitor progress and contribute to learning plans

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience supporting children with SEND (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD)

A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to follow plans and adapt to changing needs

A genuine passion for helping pupils achieve their full potential

Teamwork and reliability are essential
