2fawcett Infrastructure & Construction have an exciting opportunity to work for a leading Principal Contractor for a Senior Estimator.

As a Senior Estimator you will lead and manage the complete production of tender submissions to the highest possible standard to win work. Assist with the development of a tendering strategy to align with the business strategy for future growth.

You will be expected to:

• Successfully lead the estimate production for your allocated workflow
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation throughout the tender process
• Lead and promote a client focused culture throughout the estimating function
• Lead and develop junior members of the estimating team
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers

The position is hybrid (4/1), with occasional travel to project sites.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Typically, HNC qualified in civil engineering/rail or 5+ years’ on-site experience
• IT skills Windows Office suite to experienced level
• Suitable industry experience
• Estimating experience at senior level
• Be confident, dynamic, willing to learn with leadership skills
• Analytical person with attention to detail a must
• Ability to think strategically
• Presentation skills to audiences such as clients, colleagues, and executive team
