Salary up to £45,000 + Car/Allowance + 25 Day Holiday + Pension

I respected joinery sub-contractor based near Bournemouth is searching for a up and coming Project Manager / Project Coordinator to join the business.

You will be joining a successful business who has been operating for over 50 years, with experience in delivering high-end Shopping and Joinery projects to blue chip clients in the retail, leisure and commercial sectors.

The Position:
This is a full-time position and the appointed Project Manager / Project Coordinator who will manage nationwide projects and will be responsible for managing small joinery project and assisting a Senior Project Manager on large joinery project.

You will control the works from programme planning and ordering materials right through to on-time and within-budget client handover, key responsibilities to include:

Effective communication with office, team and clients to manage the programme.
Planning of programme and organising of labour and materials within a given budget.
Interpreting drawings and specifications provided by client.
Developing tenders into workable project delivery plans.
Surveying, scoping, compliance and diagnosis of issues / snagging works.
Organising programme of works and labour requirements for projects.
Managing on site project meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal team.
Interpreting projects into effective CDM documents, including method statements, risk assessments and Health & safety.

The Candidate:
Applicants will be required to demonstrate:
Proven experience of managing projects through from start to finish, ideally within the Joinery, Shopfitting and/or leisure interiors sectors.
The ability to prioritise workloads to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget
A good understanding of construction drawings and techniques
The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of client contacts
A good understanding of Health & Safety including principle contractor requirements
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good numerical, IT and software operation skills
