Our client is a medium-sized and highly reputable firm of accountants in Northamptonshire
Your new role
They are looking for a competent person to help them through a busy period of six months. The position is working in the accounts team and responsibilities will include accounts preparation for limited companies and non-incorporated businesses and preparation of tax computations for sole traders and limited companies.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal person will have a background in professional practice and a minimum of 12 months experience in preparing limited company accounts. Working knowledge of FRS 102 1A and FRS 105 is key alongside awareness of tax. Practice experience is essential along with confidence working on Excel. Experience working on Iris and in using cloud accounting software would be ideal. The right person will be a strong communicator who is able to work effectively as part of a team, would be happy working remotely from home and be would be highly self-organised. You will also be able to adapt and cope with multi-tasking.
What you'll get in return
This role requires someone to start as soon as possible and is offering flexibility with hours. They would look at someone full time or part time, however it would need to be a minimum of 5 hours a day 5 days a week. The role will be based at this moment in time fully from home.
