- Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30pm
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative/Yard person to join our team on a temporary basis for holiday cover. This role involves working both in the warehouse and the yard, providing crucial support to ensure smooth operations.
Day-to-day of the role: - Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.
- Identifying and storing goods in the correct locations within the warehouse.
- Picking and packing orders with accuracy.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse and yard.
- Conducting stock checks and inventory management.
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained and handled according to safety guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
- Good physical fitness, capable of manual handling and lifting.
- Ability to follow processes and safety guidelines.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
