Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Our client, a busy warehouse and furniture company in North Finchley, is looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse & Furniture Assembly Operative with a full UK driving licence to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, is eager to develop new skills, and wants to build a long-term career in a dynamic warehouse environment.

The position involves a mix of warehouse duties, van driving, and furniture assembly. Candidates should be comfortable working with their hands, following instructions, and delivering high-quality results.

• Warehouse Duties: General warehouse responsibilities including receiving, storing, and organizing goods, as well as preparing items for delivery.

• Van Driving: Safely drive a company van for deliveries of furniture parts and other items to customers, ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.

• Furniture Assembly: Assemble flat-pack furniture accurately and efficiently at the warehouse or on-site if required. Experience in furniture assembly is highly desirable.

• Customer Service: Provide professional service when delivering items, ensuring customers’ needs are met and any queries are addressed in a friendly manner.

• Inventory Management: Assist with stock control, ensuring all items are logged correctly and inventory levels are maintained.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential for van deliveries).
• Experience assembling flat-pack or pre-fabricated furniture is highly desirable.
• Background in handyman work, carpentry, or similar trades is an advantage.
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to lift and handle items safely.
• Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn new skills and grow in the role.

• Permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary of £27,000 - £30,000 per annum.
