CAD Designer Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced CAD Designer to join a growing manufacturing business based in Andover. This is a full- time permanent position. The successful candidate will be working with a dynamic design team and be responsible for designing components.Responsibilities as a CAD Designer:

• Designing components, schemes and special items for customer orders on AutoCAD.

• Working on live orders from receipt to production.

• Produce AutoCAD general arrangements and component drawings and CNC drawings.

• Project coordination of special jobs – this will involve documentation control, Bill of material control & checks, planning, liaising with other departments.

• Checking of special components and inspecting finished product.

• Produce drawings and clean orders in a timely manner.

• Being able to field enquiries on the phone and via email.

Requirements:

• Design related degree

• High competence and experience in AutoCAD – both 2D and 3D.  

• High competence and experience in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.

• Understanding of technical drawings, general arrangement, first angle projection and competency with manufacturing drawings.

• Ability to communicate by phone with customers, suppliers and external sales staff.

• Highly organised individual with attention to detail and good time management skills.

The CAD Designer Role:

• Monday – Friday

• Starting salary of £27,000 - £28,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

• 9am – 5.30pm

• 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
