ISO9001:2015 Quality and Compliance Controller

£29,000 to 35,000 (dependent on experience)

My client started as a family run business, quickly expanding to further specialisms within the building maintenance sector. They are looking for ISO9001:2015 Quality and Compliance Controller to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting straight into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading and supporting all aspects of quality, health, safety and environmental legislation.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Be the first point of contact for ISO9001:2015 Compliance, ensuring high standards are maintained organisation wide.
  • Manage the daily operations such as auditing, attending meetings, carrying out training and updating records.
  • Review best practices in line with compliance making necessary improvements to enhance and meet business objectives, ensuring these are adhered to throughout the organisation.
  • Manage and maintain all quality processes, protective and preventative safety measures and promote and instil a positive QMS culture.
  • Create and maintain methods and systems for compliance audits, including correction of non-conformances and compliance monitoring.
  • Analyse and resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement across all company operations, including the implementation of new Quality procedures and practices.
  • Creating clear and concise action plans; recommendations for corrective actions and reports within set timescales.

Skills

  • Minimum 3 years' experience an ISO9001:2015 QMS Officer.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 with experience of working according to BSI standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and maintain robust working relationships.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously while exercising good judgement.
  • Confidentially and management of business sensitive information.
  • Full driving license.
  • Desirable previous experience working in Heating, Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electrical services environments.
