We are looking to support a graduate through a salaried Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship (PGTA) route, offering the opportunity to earn while you learn. The successful candidate will split their time between a combination of classroom teaching alongside experienced staff, with the support of an identified mentor and at least 20% off-timetable training with a recognised provider, as you work towards gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Further details on Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeships can be found via UCAS.

We welcome applications from candidates who:

What we can offer you in return:

  • A fantastic working environment, where students are enthusiastic and want to learn
  • Excellent professional development, leading to QTS
  • Mentors who have a successful track record in supporting trainees and apprentices
  • We value our staff and recognise the importance of providing ongoing training opportunities. As a growing Trust we are also able to offer opportunities for promotion and fresh challenges as new roles arise regularly.
  • Full access to the Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme which is designed to help staff deal with any personal or professional problems. Staff have access to free legal advice, medical information, counselling sessions, online self-help tools, factsheets and the wellbeing portal.

Please note we are unable to accept CV's or online applications. Please see the recruitment pack via the linked HAT website for full details of how to apply for this position.

Visits to the school before the application deadline are welcomed and can be arranged by contacting the HR department (a contact email address can be found within the recruitment pack on the linked website).
