We are looking for a Bid Coordinator to work on a permanent basis in the Chorley area/hybrid.

The role is working Monday to Thursday (Friday, Saturday and Sunday are weekend).

There is flexible working, typically 2 days' in the office and 2 days' from home (depending on business needs).

Salary is c£32-37,000 per annum plus 25 days' holiday and bank holidays, pension, healthcare etc.

Duties for the Bid Coordinator:

Tender Preparation & Coordination

*

Compile and coordinate tender documentation in line with submission requirements.

*

Support the Business Development function with pre-tender activities and deliverables.

*

Review Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation to identify compliance requirements, deliverables, and submission criteria.

*

Coordinate technical and commercial contributions from internal delivery teams (e.g. engineering, production, project management, operations).

*

Liaise with customers and external stakeholders as required throughout the tender lifecycle.

*

Maintain oversight of live tenders, including those anticipated, in progress, and awaiting feedback.

*

Take ownership of assigned tenders to ensure timely and compliant submission.

Document Control & Systems Management

*

Manage document control processes within the bid lifecycle.

*

Ensure all tender submissions meet high presentation and formatting standards.

*

Produce supporting graphics, including organisation charts, process flow diagrams, and data tables.

*

Maintain and update the enquiries and opportunities database.

*

Monitor bid budgets in collaboration with finance systems and internal reporting tools.

*

Support the use of integrated business systems and bid management software to maintain accurate financial and project data.

*

Maintain shared drives, bid libraries, and departmental documentation repositories.

Process Improvement

*

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the bid function, including lessons learned reviews and process optimisation.

Administrative Support

*

Arrange and coordinate meetings and manage calendars where required.

*

Prepare meeting minutes and track associated actions to completion.
