A fit-out contractor is currently seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to deliver a Design & Build commercial fit-out project for a blue-chip client in Inverness.

The project is scheduled to run for approximately 8 weeks, with the potential for additional works following successful delivery. Candidates with local Scottish experience are strongly preferred.

The Role

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the delivery of a D&B commercial fit-out, managing the project from pre-start through to completion, ensuring programme, quality and commercial objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of a Design & Build commercial fit-out project

Manage programme, subcontractors and site teams

*

Coordinate design, procurement and construction activities

*

Act as main point of contact with the client and consultants

*

Manage health & safety, quality and site compliance

*

Drive the project to completion within programme and budget

Candidate Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial fit-out

*

Strong Design & Build project experience

*

Previous experience delivering projects for corporate / blue-chip clients

*

Scotland-based or strong knowledge of the local market preferred

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

*

Able to mobilise quickly
