Gap Construction is proud to be seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager, on behalf of our trusted client. The successful candidate will oversee a major project at an Amazon Fulfilment Centre in Hull. This role involves managing the installation of conveyors and chutes, ensuring all health and safety standards are met. A mechanical or electrical background is highly desirable.

Person Specification

Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager in a construction or M&E environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations.
Ability to manage multiple trades and ensure site operations run efficiently.
Relevant health and safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).Key Responsibilities

Oversee health and safety on-site, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Lead and coordinate a team of 15-20 tradespeople.
Ensure smooth project delivery, liaising with key stakeholders.
Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures.
Provide guidance and support to the team to maintain a safe working environment.Apply
