KS1 Teacher (Mixed YR1/2) - Bolton (BL4)

Due to a long-term injury sustained by the permanent Key Stage 1 Teacher, a Primary School based in the BL4 area of Bolton are looking for an experienced Teacher, to teach a mixed Year 1/2 class in a 1-form entry school.

This will be a full-time position to start ASAP but the school are willing to wait for January for the right person (the school are currently covering in-house), until the end of the school year in July 2024.

The school are keen to find a Teacher who has a solid knowledge of the phonics framework (Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds etc) and is assured leading classes of up to 30 pupils of mixed ability. Duties surrounding planning, preparation and marking will be expected from the Teacher, and the school will offer access to the staff shared folder to offer Teaching materials.

The school are looking for a Teacher who has:

A strong academic record with Qualified Teacher Status
Great passion for teaching literacy and maths to deliver sophisticated lessons and continue to raise teaching standards
Excellent oral and written communication skills
The ambition and determination the school expect from all their staff to continue striving for excellence
The enthusiasm and energy required to work with the children and young people in the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
