A leading not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its expanding finance team on a permanent basis. This newly created role sits to support a significant area of the organisation.

As Finance Business Partner, you will:

  • Lead on management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and assist with statutory accounts preparation.
  • Provide financial insight and strategic advice to senior leaders, building confidence through robust analysis and clear communication.
  • Oversee financial management of projects, including costing, monitoring spend, variance analysis, and recovery of grants.
  • Ensure compliance with funder and audit requirements, advising on contract terms and invoicing, and supporting due diligence processes.
  • Partner with colleagues across the organisation to embed stronger financial controls, improve reporting, and support ongoing systems change.

You will be based in central London with hybrid working arrangements (minimum two days per week in the office). You will benefit from 25 days’ annual leave plus closure days, a generous pension contribution, free lunches, and a supportive finance leadership team committed to your development.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a fully qualified Accountant.
  • Bring experience from the charity or not-for-profit sector, with a solid understanding of grant funding, funder compliance, and project accounting.
  • Demonstrate experience in management accounting, reporting, and financial planning, with strong Excel skills.
  • Be confident in building relationships with non-finance colleagues, adapting communication to varied audiences, and providing clear, strategic financial advice.
  • Be motivated to contribute to positive change and enjoy working in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
