This is the opportunity to work for one of my coolest clients! They're a web hosting and cloud infrastructure design organisation. They have been established since the early 00s, have circa 70 employees across the UK, and host 200,000+ websites for 30,000+ customers. The client is looking to recruit a Software Engineering Manager in a tech team of 15. Currently, the team is looked after by 2 managers and the rest are contributing actively to the code base (front end, back end, Staff, Lead, etc.).

This role will see you pick up 3-5 of these developers from one of the managers and also oversee a big round of development change projects (adding object storage, managed databases, new UI, etc.). They are looking for someone to bring in new ideas and help them lead the direction of their development. There is some scope for you to be hands-on and contribute to the code base.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Software Engineering Manager (1 year)
• Lead / Staff Software Engineer with the right experience will also be considered

The team is working on the following tech stack, but your background can be different:

• HTML, CSS, JS
• Saas / Tailwind
• Vue / React
• PHP (Laravel)
• Git / GitHub
