The Role - Year 3 Teacher (KS2)
The school is seeking a teacher with excellent behaviour management, a warm but assertive presence, and the ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons. Pupils respond well to teachers who create consistency, maintain pace, and combine firm expectations with an encouraging, relationship-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a Year 3 class and deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 2
Plan stimulating, differentiated lessons that support and challenge a range of learners
Maintain strong classroom management and establish a calm, structured learning environment
Work collaboratively with the KS2 team to share planning, assessment, and best practice
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

About You

Experience teaching in KS2 / Year 3 (highly desirable)
Strong behaviour management and the ability to set clear expectations from day one
Skilled at forming positive, purposeful relationships quickly
Motivated, caring, and committed to improving outcomes for all pupils
Confident ECTs with excellent classroom management will also be considered
