Fire Door Carpenter
Location: Dudley
Job Type: Temporary (Ongoing - Minimum 2 Months)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: £210 - £260 p/day

We are currently looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join a busy social housing contract based in Dudley. This is an ongoing role with a minimum of 2 months' work, with the potential for extension.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and remedial works of fire doors across a variety of social housing properties, including:

Flats and apartments
Tower blocks
Residential houses

Key Responsibilities:

Installation and maintenance of fire doors in line with regulations
Completing works across multiple occupied and void properties
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Fire Door Carpenter
Own van is essential
Willing to collect materials from a local container unit (typically within 1-2 miles of site)
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Strong attention to detail and understanding of fire safety standards
