This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's largest young plant propagation nurseries, producing hundreds of millions of plants annually.

The business is expanding, and they're looking for a Junior Grower to join the team.

Whether you've recently qualified in horticulture (especially with a focus on commercial production) or already have some nursery experience, this role offers full training, long-term development, and the chance to be part of something exciting.

The Role

As a Junior Grower, you'll gain hands-on experience across all areas of nursery operations, supporting senior growers and learning the full crop production cycle. From pest monitoring to irrigation and machinery, you'll be involved in every stage of the growing process.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified grower.

Day-to-Day You'll Be:

Assisting with crop care, including irrigation, pest and disease monitoring, and general husbandry
Supporting the implementation of biological, environmental, and cultural controls
Learning to operate machinery, including seeding lines.
Collaborating with growers, production, and dispatch teams
Helping maintain glasshouse environments and crop hygiene.
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Getting involved in new projects and learning how the whole nursery operates.What You'll Need:

A qualification in horticulture (ideally with a commercial production focus) or hands-on experience in a commercial nursery environment
A genuine interest in horticulture and a desire to build a long-term career.
A hands-on, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to support occasional weekend work.What You'll Get:
