As we return to service, Carnival UK has big plans for the future and our Procurement team have never been busier! Our Procurement team is made up of over 25 professionals specialising to support a diverse range of products and services across the business.
An exciting position has arisen within the Technical Purchasing Team for a Buyer. Reporting to the Team Leader in this space, the role is primarily responsible for the sourcing of all technical/operational goods required to support the Fleet.
Our Buyers are responsible for tactical sourcing, negotiation, contracting and purchasing as well as working closely with stakeholders, to ensure quality, service levels, cost and reporting to meet our commercial and internal customers’ needs.
You'll be given autonomy to operate within a supportive team with clear progression opportunities.
You should be passionate about procurement and have proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Proactive and forward thinking, identifying opportunities to positively influence supplier relationships and performance. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a fast paced environment and be a natural problem solver with experience of leveraging operating efficiencies.
