Luxury and tranquillity in an authentic setting, await our Guests at a Fairmont Spa. As a Spa Therapist our Guests will enjoy the professional and personalized spa experience you offer. The expertise and attention to detail you provide during their treatment will ensure our guests have a memory to share.


Hotel Overview:& Set on a 520 acre estate with a unique coastal setting in the Home of Golf, Fairmont St Andrews is the perfect location to turn any holiday into a treasured memory whilst offering a resort experience steeped in the history of the area and traditions of Scotland. The Resort includes 211 luxurious guest bedrooms, 6 diverse dining outlets, 2 golf courses and a tranquil Spa & Leisure facility.


Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Leisure Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:&

  • Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the Spa facility as required.

  • Maintain the facility in peak sanitary condition at all times.

  • Maintain locker rooms in a tidy manner.

  • Check and clean lockers when needed.

  • Maintain toiletries in locker room vanities.

  • Maintain linen inventory to and from laundry on a scheduled basis.

  • Assist Members/Guests with use of sauna, steam, Jacuzzi

  • Ensure stocking of all spa amenities and toiletries.

  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Ensure the Pool area is clean and tidy at all times

  • Regular Pool and Jacuzzi tests are carried out to ensure the facilities are safe for our guests

  • May be held responsible for opening or closing the Spa facilities on occasion

  • All operating equipment are in a working order and report any broken equipment to manager.


  • Previous Spa or Hospitality experience preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):&

  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
