Compliance Officer

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Our client is a high-growth, award-winning consumer finance lender that's scaling fast, breaking records monthly, and building a reputation for doing things the right way. They partner with a large network of national suppliers and are known for their human approach, strong culture, and serious growth trajectory.

As the business expands, they're creating a brand-new role to strengthen regulatory controls and support their next phase of growth. This is FCA regulatory oversight of introducers and brokers.

The Role

* Lead risk-based reviews and audits of suppliers, introducers and principal brokers

* Verify FCA permissions, training, scripts, policies and customer-facing processes

* Review call recordings and advertising to ensure compliant introductions

* Monitor financial stability via CreditSafe, complaints and conduct data

* Support supplier onboarding with second-line checks

* Produce clear reporting for governance forums and senior stakeholders

* Build strong relationships while confidently challenging when needed

About You

* Background in financial services compliance, risk, audit or oversight

* Strong working knowledge of FCA regulation (e.g. CONC, PRIN, SYSC, SUP 12)

* Comfortable analysing financial information and conduct risks

* Confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders

* Proactive, detail-driven, and able to work independently
