We are currently looking for a Labourer/Assembler to work for one of our clients in the Burton on Trent area.

Based in their purpose built premises, the client is a market-leading manufacturer of specialist equipment to a range of industry sectors including heavy engineering and aerospace. Due to the specialist nature of the products the work is both interesting and varied

Working alongside the client's own staff the role will include working in the workshop assisting the skilled staff in their day to day duties

The main responsibilities of this Labourers job will include:-

* Carrying out basic mechanical assembly duties using various hand tools such as spanners, sockets etc.

* Assisting with the movement and installation of parts and components.

* Assisting the companies own staff skilled staff with jobs

* Keeping the work areas tidy

The work will be on a day shift basis, Monday to Friday with the possibility of overtime .

Applicants must have previous experience of working within an engineering and/or construction environment and be able to use basic hand tools. Previous experience of mechanical assembly/fitting would be desirable but is not essential
