An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer (Plumbing & Mechanical Bias) to join a leading facilities management provider. Based across two prestigious client sites in London Bridge and Canary Wharf, you will play a key role in maintaining critical building systems and ensuring infrastructure remains safe, compliant, and fully operational.

The Role
You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a broad range of mechanical and plumbing systems, delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.
This is a hands-on role within a high-profile commercial environment where attention to detail, compliance, and client communication are essential.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair mechanical installations including:

Air Handling Units (AHUs) and ventilation intake/extract systems

Thermal wheels and Fan Coil Units (FCUs)

Heating and cooling systems

Booster sets, calorifiers, and water heaters

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, from general plumbing to fault finding and system repairs.

Conduct statutory compliance checks, including legionella monitoring.

Respond promptly to client queries and provide clear updates on progress and remedial actions.

Identify and report defects, recommending appropriate solutions.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, service documentation, and completed works.

Work in line with Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work systems, and safe working practices.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience within a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment.

Relevant qualifications such as:

NVQ Level 3

City & Guilds Level 3

F-Gas (desirable depending on bias)

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and compliance requirements.

Comfortable working at height, in confined spaces, and carrying out manual tasks.

Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with clients.

Competent in using mobile devices for reporting and documentation.

Flexible approach to working hours to meet client needs when required.
