Audit Senior Associate - High Wycombe (HP11) - £48,000 to £52,000Ready for a firm where your development genuinely matters - not just your chargeable hours? This Audit Senior Associate role in High Wycombe offers the rare combination of high-quality clients, great flexibility, and a genuinely people-first culture. You'll be joining a collaborative audit and accounts team of around 25 staff, with a client portfolio spanning AIM-listed businesses, large corporates, landed estates, and owner-managed groups. You'll play a lead role in delivering full audit files, taking ownership from planning through to completion, and supporting junior staff along the way. It's a varied, hands-on position that offers progression, responsibility, and real opportunity to make your mark. What you'll be doing as an Audit Senior Associate:

  • Leading audit fieldwork across a wide-ranging portfolio
  • Planning audits, assessing risk and designing tests
  • Delivering high-quality audit files to managers
  • Building relationships with clients to deliver a positive, consultative experience
  • Supervising and reviewing work from juniors and supporting their development
  • Managing budgets, WIP, and communicating progress effectively
  • Collaborating with internal tax and business services teams
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under UK GAAP (some IFRS exposure beneficial)

What you'll need to bring:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist level)
  • Strong audit background, including planning and completion
  • Confident communicator and natural team player
  • Commercial mindset with a keen eye for detail
  • Comfortable managing deadlines and juggling multiple assignments
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and ideally CCH Accounts/Audit Automation
