Finance Assistant - Loughton - 1 year FTC - 4 or 5 days per week, between £30k - £40k per annum DOE

We’re looking for a detail oriented Finance Assistant to support a fast paced, sociable, sales environment with their Accounts.
This is a 1 year fixed term contract, covering maternity leave, a key role supporting weekly financial operations, payroll, and invoicing.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing timesheets and payroll for contractors/ temps both umbrella and PAYE
- Issuing weekly invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
- Performing bank reconciliations and managing payment allocations
- Supporting credit control and chasing outstanding payments
- Handling month-end processes and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with Xero ideally
- Background in recruitment, construction, contracting etc.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
