We’re delighted to be partnering with a London-based university to support the recruitment of Postgraduate Programme Officer for an immediate start. This key role will act as the first point of contact for students and academic staff, supporting postgraduate research programmes within a faculty and ensuring the delivery of a high standard of service.

Key duties:

• Lead postgraduate recruitment and admissions processes, managing enquiries, organising events, updating promotional materials, and coordinating selection in collaboration with academic and central teams
• Administer the full student lifecycle for Postgraduate students, including enrolment, induction, progression, attendance monitoring, and record management
• Oversee programme delivery and quality assurance, including timetabling, module registration, academic regulations, and servicing key committees
• Provide expert support for student assessments, including PhD vivas, examiner nominations, exam paper management, and mark entry
• Manage studentship funding and budgets
• Ensure regulatory compliance with UKVI, HESA, HEFCE, and institutional reporting standards

Candidate profile:

• Proven experience coordinating teaching activities in higher education, including timetabling, module registration, and assessment processes
• Skilled in administering postgraduate programmes, supporting the full student lifecycle
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Good working knowledge of UKVI regulations relating to international students

Hourly Rate: £23 - £27

Contract type: 4-6 weeks, with the possibility to extend

Working hours: Full time

Location: London (hybrid working)
