Key Responsibilities - Lead shifts and actively participate in daily routines and activities.
- Support and guide a team in delivering high-quality care to young people with complex needs.
- Model professional standards and help develop staff through mentoring and example.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the home and ensure a safe, nurturing environment.
What We’re Looking For - A relevant qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, NVQ3) or willingness to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a residential childcare setting with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and the regulatory framework for children’s residential services.
- Ability to build trusting, respectful relationships with young people.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
