We are recruiting an experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead the pastry section at a highly regarded, established restaurant on the outskirts of Chelmsford. The venue is conveniently located near Chelmsford, Colchester, Braintree, and Maldon, though a driving licence is preferred due to its village location.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the pastry section and manage the team
• Produce high-quality, high-volume desserts
• Create and develop seasonal menus
• Maintain consistent standards and presentation
• Mainly day shifts with limited evenings

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ pastry experience
• Strong background in high-quality, high-volume kitchens
• Creative with a passion for pastry
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Driving licence preferred
