Our client, a leading consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking a Lead Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a long-term contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage civil engineering design packages
Provide technical oversight and quality assurance
Mentor and guide junior and graduate engineers
Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams
Support project delivery across AMP8 frameworks

Job Requirements:

Strong background in civil design engineering
Experience in wastewater or water treatment works preferred
Strong infrastructure engineers with relevant transferrable skills will be considered
Demonstrable experience mentoring or leading teams
Ability to work independently and take ownership of design work
Comfortable with hybrid working, with some Bristol office presence required for team support

Project Pipeline:

Significant involvement in Wessex Water and Thames Water AMP8 projects
Long-term secured workload with opportunities for extension
