About the Role:

The company is hiring a full-time Mechanical Associate Engineer in Winchester with hybrid work flexibility. Responsibilities:

* Participate in dynamic project meetings with clients and design teams, showcasing a versatile role beyond the desk.

* Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and detailed scheme designs from inception to competitive tendering, ensuring a comprehensive project contribution.

* Demonstrate technical proficiency through manual and computer-based calculations, emphasising accuracy in design work.

* Monitor project finances for efficiency and success, collaborating with the Finance Department to ensure accurate fee tracking and timely invoicing.

* Engage in effective communication with clients, responding to queries, providing insightful comments on tenders, and participating in site progress meetings for project success.

* Coordinate with CAD and Reception to maintain project timelines, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed about deadlines for successful project delivery

Requirements:

* At least six years of experience in designing M&E building services within a consulting setting.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Hevacomp, or similar engineering software.

* Strong organisational abilities and a keen attention to detail.

* Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

* Capacity to handle multiple tasks and engage in concurrent management of various projects.

* Holding Chartered Membership in a relevant professional body or actively progressing towards such membership, such as CIBSE, IET, or IMechE
