Contract Type: Full-time - Temp to Perm
Salary: £90 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Aylesbury is looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils with additional needs across EYFS and Key Stage 1. The role involves a mix of in-class support and targeted 1:1 interventions, particularly for children with autism, speech and language needs, and emotional regulation challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalised support for pupils with SEN, including ASD and speech, language, and communication needs
Implement strategies advised by the SENCO and external professionals
Work with individuals and small groups to promote academic and emotional progress
Support with behaviour regulation using a positive and therapeutic approach
Requirements:

Experience supporting children with SEND in an educational or care setting
Calm, nurturing, and consistent approach
Understanding of communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or visuals is beneficial
Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
