The Opportunity:

A boutique high-end residential specialist contractor based in South West London is seeking an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator to join its growing pre-construction team. The business delivers one-off, bespoke residential developments with project values ranging from £1m to £8m.

This is a unique opportunity to join a company that is in the ascendency, with a strong pipeline of work, an established team, and a reputation for quality delivery. Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing accurate cost plans and detailed tenders for high-end residential projects

- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and employer's requirements

- Producing take-offs, pricing schedules, and cost breakdowns

- Engaging with and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers

- Analysing risk, value engineering opportunities, and buildability

- Supporting pre-construction strategy and tender submissions

- Working closely with commercial and delivery teams to ensure robust pricing

- Contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within construction

- Experience with high-end residential projects would be advantageous

- Background in main contractor, subcontractor, or developer environments considered

- Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and confident communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple tenders and projects concurrently
