M&E Buyer

An opportunity has opened for an M&E Buyer to join a construction and building services company based in Harlow. The ideal candidate will have a background working as a Buyer and have excellent experience sourcing mechanical and electrical materials for building services and construction projects.

M&E Buyer Key Skills:

* Experience as a Buyer within construction, building services or similar

* Mechanical and Electrical materials buying experience

* Excellent sourcing knowledge

* Any plumbing materials buying for large scale projects would be a bonus

* Negotiation and excellent communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects at once

M&E Buyer Responsibilities:

* Sourcing, negotiating and procuring mechanical and electrical materials for large construction / building services projects

* Evaluating quotations to ensure the best price for projects

* Keeping within in project deadlines at all times

* Maintain and develop supplier relationships

* Work with the whole supply chain to manage any delays
